Harborne Railway tunnel mouth, Winson Green

The bricked-up tunnel mouth from which the Harborne Railway once emerged to join the main line, Northbrook Street, Winson Green.

The opposite direction to the shot to the left, we now see the remains of the brick pier which carried the Harborne Railway over the canal to join the main line to New St.

T69 Tramcar 05 is seen here standing in a siding at Wednesbury Metro Depot. The photo was taken from Wednesbury Great Western Street Metro stop which affords a good vantage point.

The newly installed Hademore signal box at Chasewater Heaths on the Chasewater Railway.

The signal box was donated by Network Rail to the Chasewater Railway as part of the TV4 Project on the West Coast Mainline.

Rubery station site relics

Walking the trackbed of the Halesowen Railway from Longbridge to Rubery threw up these finds in the undergrowth at the site of Rubery station.

The ex-Halesowen Railway crossing keeper's house, now named 'Rubery Crossing Cottage' on New Road, Frankley: the line and crossing being to the left.

Egghill Lane crossing on the Halesowen Railway's Rubery & Frankley branch serving the construction of Frankley Waterworks: the line passed the hous to the right of camera.
