The Crescent Metro Stop

1999 - Present
The Crescent Entrance

Now, as I've said previously, there isn't really much to be said about the majority of Metro stops as uniformity is key and, unless they occuppy a site previously occuppied by a mainline station, are merely slotted in at intervals along what was the GWR's line from Snow Hill to Wolverhmapton Low Level. Above we see the entrance to the stop on The Crescent.

View from The Crescent Wolverhampton Platform

Above-left we are standing on The Crescent bridge looking down at the Metro stop in the direction of Birmingham. Above-right we have descended the stairwell to the Wolverhampton platform.

The Crescent Bridge Arthur St Bridge

Above-left we are standing on the Wolverhampton platofrm looking through The Cresecent bridge towards the next stop on the line: Priestfield. Above-right we are looking in the opposite direction towards Birmingham with the slightly more interesting bridge carrying Arthur Street over the line.
